Kislevite New Year, known as Shoika Day, was named on the first Tzarina's honor. The Kislevites sailed the Sea of Claws, trading and fighting with the Norse - and occasionally the Empire - as well as keeping the few remaining Ungol tribes that refused to submit to their rule in check In response to an Ice Witch prophecy that claimed a male witch will one day taint the pristine flows of Ice Magic forever, a decree was passed prohibiting men from becoming spellcasters. Within a few years, the cities of Erengrad and Pragg began to grow again, the latter becoming one of the busiests ports in the Old World.

The Ungols who survived the bloody siege fled into the north, where they were ruthlessly hunted until they were eventually forced to accept their new rulers, being incorporated into the nation. After a bitter war, Norvard fell to Shoika's armies, less than two years after her crowning, being renamed as Erengrad by the victor. Whoever, her curses were no match to the magic of the Ice Witches of thde Gospodars. The city was held by the Ungol King Weiran, who was advised by the Sea Hag. Norvard was a great port city on a natural harbour, and the new Tzarina realized both that the land wouldn't be unified while it remained in Ungol hands, and that the port would be vital to ensure her new nation's prosperity. Shoika's first act as Tzarina was to march on the Ungol capital of Norvard, a port city on the Sea of Claws and the last bastion of Ungol resistance in western Kislev. This event was marked as the first year of the Gospodarin Calendar, as it established Kislev as a nation. She declared herself Tzarina of Kislev, and her realm as all the lands north of the River Urskoy and her people the Kislevites. Once this was done, Shoika abandoned the old Gospodar title of Khan-Queen her mother had held in favor of a new one. During sumer solstice, Shoika finished the construction of a new Gospodar capital city, named Kislev after the land they had claimed. While her mother began the conquest of Kislev, it was during Miska's reign that a nation was born. Leaving her fearsome warblade Fearfrost and rulership of the Gospodars to her daughter Shoika, Miska gathered her most trusted warriors to her side and rode into the Chaos Wastes, never to be seen again. While the Gospodars grew in power and status, Khan-Queen Miska would not live to see the fruits of her labour, for she vanished into the north, claiming to have seen a vision of a terrible future where she would once again be needed to lead her people to salvation. Soon the conquest spread further west and south, even conquering areas of the southern Empire. Being mighty horse-warriors led by Miska, who herself was a great warrior and sorcerer, the Gospodars displaced the native Ungol tribes from the steppes and conquered the Ungol city of Praag. Khan-Queen Miska had first lead the Gospodar people west of the Worlds Edge Mountains in search of a new homeland, as the Chaos Wastes were expanding over their native territory in the Eastern Steppes.
